Kathy Marie Farris, 56, of Clanton, passed away June 25 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.
She was born on Aug. 18, 1958, in Montgomery, the daughter of the late Carlton Baker and the late Effie Lee Thomas Baker.
She was a payroll clerk for Chilton-Shelby Mental Health.
Surviving are husband, Mr. Jimmy Farris of Clanton; daughters, Mrs. Tammy (Jim) Cordes of Verbena, Mrs. Robin (Nick) Rhodes of Clanton; granddaughters, Miss Kailey Cordes of Verbena, Miss Alli Cordes of Verbena, Miss Madison Rhodes of Clanton; grandson, Mr. Aiden Rhodes of Clanton; sisters, Mrs. Voncile (Jack) Wyatt of Clanton, Mrs. Emma Jean Moore of Billingsley; sister-in-law, Mrs. Kathy Baker of Clanton; brother, Mr. Glenn (Lois) Baker of Clanton; brother-in-law, Mr. Billy Knight of Billingsley and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlton and Effie Lee Baker, sister, Vera Nell Knight, sister, Ruby Powell and brothers, Clarence, Buddy and Jimmy Baker.
Friends were received from 5-8 p.m., June 26 at Martin Funeral Home.
Services will be held June 27, at 2 p.m. at Robinson Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. David Farris, the Rev. Bobby Littleton and the Rev. Harold Farris officiating.
Interment will follow in Robinson Springs in Clanton.
