Eugene Roy West, 87, of Jemison, passed away on June 19 at his residence.

He was born on May 19, 1928, in Michigan, the son of the late Eber George West and the late Irma Krough Kuschell.

He was a former machinist.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Faye West of Jemison; daughter, Barbara Grace (Curtis) of Jemison; son, Chris West (Rhonda) of Huntsville; son, Erik West (Michelle) of Jemison; daughter, Joyce Headley (Van) of Jemison; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, John Kuschell (Kay) of Michigan; brother, Ken Kuschell of Michigan and a sister, Carolyn Clemence of Ohio.

At Mr. West’s request, he will be cremated and private family services will be held at a later time.
