Patricia “Pat” M. Blalock, 62, of Pelham, passed away June 11 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

She was born on June 8, 1953, in Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late James M. Andrews and Margaret J. Murtha Andrews.

She was a nurse.

Surviving are her husband, George W. Blalock; daughter, Jamie Blalock; mother, June Andrews; brother, Michael Andrews (Lisa); sisters, Mary Jo (Ken Thornton) Andrews, Kathy Henderson (David), Susan Krznaric (Michael) and family dogs, Majik and George.

She was preceded in death by her father, James M. Andrews.

Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. June 14 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services were held June 15 at 1 p.m. at Martin Chapel.

Interment followed in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
