Alma Plier Hand

Alma Plier Hand, 86, of Jemison, passed away June 12 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.
She was born on April 21, 1929, in Chilton County, the daughter of the late Charles Henry Plier and the late Leona Littleton Plier.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are two sons, Larry E. Hand (Brenda Gail) of Meridian, Miss., Ronnie N. Hand (Debbie) of Prattville; five grandchildren, Randall Hand (Laura), Karen Hartness (Phil), April Bradley (Nathan), Julie Hitch (Michael), Jason Hand; great-grandchildren, Rhianna and Ethan Hand, Caedmon, Jnysen and Tobias Bradley; Alexis Josey Hartness, Caitlin, Brennen and Logan Hitch; two brothers, Albert Plier, Athan (Ann); sister, Audrey Collins (Bobby); brother-in-law, Addison Hand.
Friends were received from 6-8 p.m. June 13 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services were held June 14 at 2 p.m. at Jemison First Baptist Church with the Rev. Rex Kent officiating.
Interment followed in Midway Memorial Gardens.
