John Virgil Glenn

John Virgil Glenn, 87, of Maplesville, passed away on May 13.
He was born on Sept. 3, 1927, in Alabama, the son of the late William Franklin Glenn and the late Delonie B. Stroud Glenn.
He was a salesman.
Surviving are daughters, Judy Calfee of Maplesville, Brenda Foshee (Jackie) of Fleming Island, Fla., Sheila Bryant (Cliff) of Thorsby; sons, Johnnie Glenn (Carolyn) of Alabaster, Ricky Glenn (Virginia) of Dothan, Kenneth Glenn (Janet) of Glenford, Ohio, Cecil Glenn of Maplesville; brother, Thomas Virdie (Doris) Glenn of Jemison; sister-in-law, Debra Glenn of Clanton; 19 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara N. Glenn; son, Barry Glenn; parents, Willie and Delonie Glenn; brothers, Oliver, Otis and Arnold Glenn; sisters, Elsie Jones, Lera Jones, Delene Todd and son-in-law, Rickie Calfee.
Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m. May 16 at Mulberry Baptist Church.
Services will be held May 16 at 11 a.m. at Mulberry Baptist Church with the Rev. Andy Mims and the Rev. David Bishop officiating.
Interment will follow in Mulberry Baptist Cemetery in Maplesville.
