Ruby Lee Ellison, 95, of Jemison, passed away May 1 at Homeland Assisted Living in Jemison.

She was born on July 2, 1919, in Chilton County, the daughter of the late Henry Lee Cobb and the late Florence Collum Cobb.She was a homemaker.

Surviving are son, Ronnie (Donna) Ellison of Jemison; daughter, Jane (Larry) Weir of Irondale; daughter-in-law, Sue Ellison of Clanton; sisters, Mae Littleton of Thorsby Jo Whatley of Thorsby; eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Ellison and son, Gene Ellison.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. May 3 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held May 4 at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Keith Edwards and the Rev. Terry Avery officiating.

Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison.
