Beverley Jo Rhodes, 74, of Jemison, passed away April 21 at her residence.

She was born on June 17, 1940, in Jefferson County, the daughter of the late Ennis Biggs and the late Pauline Thomas Biggs.

She was a business owner.

Surviving are four sons, Jimmy Wayne Rhodes of Jemison, Daniel Clyde Rhodes of Jemison, Christopher Lee Rhodes of Birmingham, Kenneth Dewayne Rhodes of Cupertino, Calif.; daughter, Beverley Jo Gray of Jemison; four grandsons, James Delaney Rhodes of Birmingham, Steven Rhodes of Ft. Hood, Texas, Brad Gray of Jemison, Braxton Gray of Jemison; four granddaughters, Savanah Shaw of Jemison, Tabitha Rhodes of Bullard, Texas, Crystal Rhodes of Schertz, Texas, Christane Rawlinson of Prattville and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bill Rhodes.

Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. April 25 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held April 26 at 2 p.m. at Martin Chapel with the Rev. Gary Jones officiating.

Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison.
