H.C. Johnson Sr., 99, of Clanton, passed away April 19 at Baptist Medical Center Princeton.

He was born Aug. 17, 1915, in Alabama City, the son of the late H.C. Johnson and the late Dovie Johnson.

He was in transportation sales.

Surviving are his wife, Melba Johnson of Clanton; son, H.C. Johnson (Bonnie) Jr. of Tenn.; grandson, Chris Johnson (Nan) of Montgomery; granddaughter, Amanda Corr of Atlanta, Ga. and five great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 4:30-6 p.m. April 22 at Lime Springs Methodist Church.

Services will be held April 22 at 6 p.m. at Lime Springs United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Shannon and Elder Mike Smith officiating.

Interment will follow in Lime Springs Methodist Cemetery in Clanton.
