Leaj Marie Jarvis Price, age 24 of Jemison, passed away suddenly on April 13, 2015.

She was born in South Carolina on Dec. 7, 1990, the daughter of James VanBuren Jarvis and Margaret Ellen Wilkins Johnson.

She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend to so many.

She is survived by: son, Gavin Scott Price of Jemison; parents, Margaret and Mark Johnson of Jemison; sister, Melissa (Rodney) Baker of Jemison; brother, Bruce Wayne Brewer of Talladega; brother, Justin Brewer of Talladega; brother, Jared Jarvis of South Carolina; grandparents, Bill and Geneva Wilkins of Clanton; grandparents, Arlis and Loretta Jarvis of South Carolina; nieces, Emily Baker, Kaylee Baker and Haleigh Brewer; nephews, Jacob Brewer and Bruce Wayne Brewer III; along with numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by a brother, Devan Jarvis, and grandmother, Donna Wilkins.

Visitation was held Thursday, April 16, 2015, from 6-9 p.m. at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015, at 3 p.m. from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Reynolds officiating.

Burial will follow in the New Cedron Baptist Church Cemetery in Billingsley.

A memorial fund has been established at Peoples Southern Bank in Clanton. Donations made payable to the Leaj Marie Jarvis Price Memorial Fund may be mailed to P.O. Box 269 Clanton, AL 35046.
