Floreine Beasley, 95, of Thorsby died Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at her residence.

She was born on Monday, July 14, 1919, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Sinclair D. McCary and the late Johnnie Annie Cochran McCary.

She retired as a homemaker, seamstress and also worked for Hollywood Candy Company in Montgomery.

Surviving are son, Mr. Ben (Mary) Beasley of Thorsby; three daughters, Ms. Frances Martin of Chapel Hill, N.C., Mrs. Jane B. (Wayne) Clements of Jemison, and Mrs. Cory (Michael) Robinson of Jemison; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren; and brother-in-law, Mr. Bob (Doris) Beasley of Robertsdale.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Paul Beasley; grandson, Mr. Greg Martin; parents, S.D. and Johnnie Annie Cochran.

Friends were received from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Friday, April 17, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Martin Chapel with the Rev. Rex Kent officiating.

Interment will follow in Thorsby Memorial Cemetery in Thorsby.
