Myrtle Mae Littleton

Myrtle Mae Littleton, age 95, of Clanton, went home to be with her Lord on April 13 in Alabaster.
She was born in Chilton County on January 11, 1920, the daughter of the late William Marvin Smitherman and the late Minnie Leola Smith Smitherman.
She is survived by her husband of 77 years, the Rev. Willie Littleton of Clanton; brother, James Virgil Smitherman of Clanton; sister, Ruby Smitherman McCoy of Fernandina Beach, Fla.; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Myrtle was a second mother to many throughout her and Bro. Willie’s ministry.
She is preceded in death by her father, Will Smitherman; mother, Minnie Smitherman; sister, Ruth Smitherman Littleton; and brothers, Phillip Smitherman, Edgar Franklin and Hosie Smitherman.
Visitation will be held April 15 from 5-8 p.m. at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held April 16 at 11 a.m. from New Harmony Holiness Church with the Rev. Donnie Messer and the Rev. Teddy Chadwick officiating.
The body will also be in state one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
Burial will follow in New Harmony Holiness Church Cemetery in Clanton.
