Morris Norman Hand, 89, of Clanton, died April 12 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center.

He was born on Thursday, March 25, 1926, in Deatsville, son of the late James Walter Hand and the late Ola Clark Hand.

He was a railroad agent.

Surviving are his daughter, Sandra (Charles) Beard of Clanton; sons, Michael S. (Connie) Hand of Cape Coral, Fla., Wendell (Janet) Hand of Verbena; 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other family members.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Hand; son, Tony Hand; first wife, Hilda Ruth Hudson Hand; and great-grandson, Mitchell Beard.

Friends will be received from 9:30-11 a.m., Wednesday, April 15 at West End Baptist Church.

Services will be held Wednesday, April 15 at 11 a.m. at West End Baptist Church with the Rev. Daniel Wilson and the Rev. Justin Thomas officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt. Creek Cemetery, Marbury.
