The following is an activity report of the Maplesville Police Department from Feb. 5-March 8:
Feb. 5
•DUI: Alabama Highway 22 and County Road 10 (arrest)
Feb. 6
•Private property accident: Chevron Parking Lot, U.S. Highway 82 (no injuries)
Feb. 8
•Minor in consumption of alcohol: 600 block of Alabama Highway 139
Feb. 9
•Failure to register as a sex offender: Railroad Tracks, Stanton (arrest)
Feb. 12
•Failure to appear warrant for possession of marijuana (picked up by Bibb County deputies): Bibb County Line, U.S. Highway 82 (arrest)
Feb. 14
•Criminal mischief (employee broke a security window): South Coast Paper
Feb. 17
•Identity theft in connection with the Maplesville bank: Plantersville
•Property damage (A U-Haul truck and trailer were damaged by a tractor trailer coming through the lot): J and A Trucking, U.S. Highway 82
Feb. 22
•Driving without a license: Dallas County Line
•Private property accident, vehicle damage only: Mulberry St.
Feb. 23
•A male was picked up at Maxwell Air Force Base for warrants with Maplesville after military police checked his identification at the gate and the warrant for possession of marijuana was found.
Feb. 24
•Possession of marijuana (student): Maplesville School
Feb. 27
•Property damage (a tire came off a vehicle and rolled 200 meters, striking a mobile home, shattering the window and damaging the siding): U.S. Highway 82
March 4
•Failure to appear on a DUI. Suspect was stopped by state troopers at the Dallas County Line on U.S. Highway 80 in Selma.
March 5
•Suspect turned himself in at the county jail for a warrant on fraudulent use of a credit card.
March 8
•Reckless endangerment (mother fell asleep, toddlers were wandering in the highway): Intersection of Alabama Highway 22 and Reed St.
