Mary Alice Green, 69, of Clanton, passed away on March 4 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster. She was born in Chilton County on March 26, 1945, the daughter of the late Charlie Rushing and the late Margaret Glass Rushing.

She was a former caregiver.

She is survived by her daughter, Lavetia Edmondson of Clanton; son, Danny (Kim) Robinson of Jemison; son, Raymond (Jennifer) Robinson of Selma; daughter, Rachel Robinson of Clanton; daughter, Savannah Green of Clanton; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Green; parents, Charlie and Margaret Rushing; and sister, Violet Davis.

Funeral services will be held on March 5, at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Johnson and the Rev. Willard Scott officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services.

Burial will follow the service in Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton.
