On March 21, Magenn Corlie McGriff will marry Samuel David Green at Jemison First Baptist Church at 4 p.m.

The bride is the daughter of Honorable and Mrs. Glenn McGriff of Jemison. She is the granddaughter of Martha McGriff and the late O.J. McGriff of Verbena and the late Mr. and Mrs. I.H. McNeill Jr. of Jemison.

McGriff is 2007 graduate of Jemison High School and 2011 graduate of the University of Montevallo.

Presently she teaches at Verbena High School.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher Green.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ellison of Clanton and the late Mr. and Mrs. H.D. Green of Slocomb. He is a 2008 graduate of Isabella High School and 2012 graduate of Auburn University. He is presently employed with ALFA Insurance as claims adjuster in Centreville.

Following the wedding, a reception will be held at the Jemison City Hall Municipal Complex.

The couple will reside in Clanton.
