Roger Dale Crowson, 66, of Clanton, passed away on Feb 12 at Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery.

He was born on Dec. 1, 1948, in Chilton County, the son of the late William Milton Crowson and the late Margaret Wilodean Dawson Crowson.

He was a construction worker.

He is survived by his wife, Willie Mae Simmons Crowson of Clanton; son, William Shane (Trudy) Crowson of Jemison; daughter, Lettie Elizabeth Crowson of Montevallo; son, Danny (Tina) Littleton of Arkansas; son, Stanley (Traci) Littleton of Colorado; daughter, Cindy (Tim) McCraw of Jemison; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way; and a sister, Donna Jo (Steve) Carden of Billingsley.

He is preceded in death by parents, William Milton Crowson and Margaret Wilodean Crowson and a brother, Mickie Dean Crowson.

Funeral services will be held Feb. 14 at 2 p.m. at the Memorial Chapel at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. J. Aaron Ellison officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service beginning at 1 p.m. on Feb. 14 at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Thorsby Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the American Lung Cancer Society.
