Eula Fulmer Popwell, 72, of Clanton, passed away on Feb. 2 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

She was born in Chilton County on June 10, 1942, the daughter of the late Elbert Fulmer and the late Dovie Melton Fulmer.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, James “Jim” Popwell of Clanton; brother, Clifton Fulmer (Brenda) of Clanton and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Dovie Fulmer; brother, Horace Fulmer and brother, Billy F. Fulmer Sr.

Visitation will be held on Feb. 3 from 6-8 p.m. at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Feb. 4 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. J. Aaron Ellison officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Clanton.
