Leora M. Beasley, 94, of Jemison, passed away Jan. 30.

She was born on Sept. 21, 1920, in Alabama, the daughter of the late Orville M. Martin and the late Mattie Mims.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her daughters, Louise Day (Sam) of Samson and Linda Lessley (Gene) of Jemison; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian L. Beasley; daughter, Shirley McPhatter; son, Carl Beasley (Dutch); daughter-in-law, Cindy Beasley; granddaughter, Sharon Day and her father, Edgar Day; four brothers and two sisters.

Graveside services were held Jan. 31 at 3 p.m. at Midway Memorial Gardens with Gene Lesley, Brett Lesley and Stan Beasley officiating.
