Rita Sue Porter, 80, of Clanton, passed away Jan. 26 at UAB in Birmingham.

She was born on March 1, 1934, in Chilton County, the daughter of the late Jessie L. McKinnon and the late Nora Lee Gore McKinnon.

She was a secretary.

Surviving are her husband, Floyd Porter; son, Ronnie Porter (Mary); grandsons, Jason Porter (Martha) Porter, Justin Porter; great-granddaughters, Anna and Allie Porter; brother, Wayne McKinnon (Lynn); sister-in-law, Frances McKinnon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie L. and Nora Lee McKinnon and brother, Dan McKinnon.

Friends were received from 5-8 p.m. Jan. 27 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Jan. 28 at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Otts and Bro. Gilbert Green officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery.
