Hershel Wayne Edwards, 65, of Clanton, passed away Jan. 24.
He was born on Dec. 24, 1949, in Chilton County, the son of the late Ozie Edwards and the late Everee Patterson Edwards.
He was a storeowner for Maplesville Supermarket.
Surviving are his wife, Sybil Edwards of Clanton; sons, Steven Edwards (Rachel) of Calera, Cody Edwards (Suzanne) of Montevallo; daughter, Wendy Smitherman (Brian) of Clanton; granddaughters, Raven Edwards, Taylor Smitherman, Sydney Smitherman, McKaryn Edwards; grandson, Brady Smitherman; sister, Eunice Scott (Bobby Ray) of Jemison.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ozie and Everee Edwards; sister, Dorothy Lowery and brother, David Edwards.
Friends were received from 6-8 p.m. Jan. 26 at Martin Funeral Home.
Services were held Jan. 27 at 2 p.m. at New Harmony Holiness Church with the Rev. Teddy Chadwick officiating.
Interment were follow in New Harmony Holiness Cemetery in Clanton.
