Sara Nell Jones Rasberry, 85, of Jemison, passed away Jan. 20 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center.

She was born April 19, 1929, in Isabella, the daughter of the late Ezekiel Spann Jones and the late Novice Wooley Jones.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are husband, Coy J. Rasberry of Jemison; daughters, Nelda Porter (Elvin) of Jemison, Jacque Adams (Stacey) of Isabella, Jill Crocker (Jack) of Jemison; grandchildren, Heath Porter, Heather Otwell (John), Hannah Bishop, Trenton Bishop, Sophia Adams, Dylan Crocker, Mason Crocker; great-grandchildren, Jackson Otwell, Hadley Otwell, Haylee Porter, Dylannah Crocker; brothers, Glen Jones of Waycross, Ga., Lloyd Jones of Decatur and a host of nieces, nephews and other family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ezekiel and Novice Jones; brothers, Andrew Jones, Chalmus Jones.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Jan. 21 at Macedonia Baptist Church Christian Life Center.

Services were held Jan. 22 at 11 a.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church Christian Life Center with the Rev. David Bishop and the Rev. Matt DeBord officiating.

Interment will follow in Macedonia Baptist Cemetery in Maplesville.
