Sheila Ann Smith, 51, of Randolph, passed away suddenly on Jan. 5 at her residence.

She was born in Chilton County on Sept. 11, 1963, the daughter of the late Bobby Joe Moates and the late Martha Ann Campbell Moates.

She was the manager of Land’s Mart for over 20 years.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Smith of Randolph; son, Noah Chad Smith (Emily) of Randolph; granddaughter, Abbie Grace Smith of Randolph; brothers, Bobby Joel Moates, Tim Moates and Wendell Moates all of Clanton and a sister, Rhonda Roper of Jemison.

She is preceded in death by her son, Richard Heath Smith; father, Bobby Joe Moates and mother, Martha Moates.

Visitation will be held Jan. 9 from 6-8 p.m. at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Jan. 10 at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. William Earl Short officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Springs Cemetery in Clanton.
