Ola Jean Haigler

Ola Jean Haigler, 86, of Maplesville, passed away on Dec. 27 at Bibb County Nursing Home in Centreville.
She was born in Alabama on March 14, 1928, the daughter of the late Leonard McGee and the late Olyce Seales Guyton.
She was a homemaker, and a member of the Maplesville Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Annie Jean Smith; son, Jerry R. Haigler Sr. (Betty); son, Robert L. Haigler (Lydia); grandchildren, Tammy Soltishick (Paul), Tony Smith (Cathy), Cathy Frith (Jim), Jerry Haigler Jr., Lanae Williams (Keith), Patrick Haigler (Brittany), Molly Thomas (Lee), and Matthew Haigler (Caiti); 12 great-grandchildren and a brother, Jimmy R. McGee (Betty Sue).
She is preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Haigler; father, Leonard McGee; mother, Olyce Guyton; brother, Louis McGee; sister, Joann Griffin and son-in-law, Buddy Smith.
Visitation was held Dec. 29 from 5-8 p.m. at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.
A graveside service will be held Dec. 30 at 11 a.m. in the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Maplesville.
