Ramona Faye McRae, 78, of Thorsby, passed away Dec. 25 at Hatley Health Care in Clanton.

She was born July 1, 1936, in Jefferson County, the daughter of the late James A. McCormick and the late Flora Stubblefield McCormick.

She was a registered nurse.

Surviving are her nieces, Martha V. Wright (David) of Plantersville, Mary Villadsen of Irondale and Sarah V. (Mike) Johnson of Bessemer; nephews, Glenn T. Villadsen of Maryland, Jim McCormick (Debra) of Mt. Olive and Bill McCormick; brother-in-law, Don McRae (Barbara) of Thorsby.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James A. and Flora McCormick; husband, Kenneth R. McRae; son, Richard McRae; sister, Opal M. Villadsen; brothers, Robert E. and William K. McCormick.

Friends will be received from 9:30-10 a.m., Dec. 27 at Thorsby First Baptist Church.

Services will be held Dec. 27, at 10 a.m. at Thorsby First Baptist Church with the Rev. Marc Hodges officiating.

Interment will follow in Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera.
