Myra Bess Robinson Ellison, 70, of Clanton, passed away Dec. 25 at her residence in Clanton.

She was born Jan. 23, 1944, in Chilton County, the daughter of the late Howard “Bud” Robinson and Pearline Cleckler Robinson.

She was retired from the Soil and Conservation Services.

She is survived by her son, Michael Chad Ellison of Clanton; two daughters, Ginger E. Ricks of Clanton, Shelley Lynn Minor of Clanton; mother, Pearline C. Robinson of Jemison; two brothers, Ed Robinson of Jemison and Tom Robinson of Cullman; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and like a son, Johnny H. Carter of Clarksville, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur G. Ellison and father, Howard “Bud” Robinson.

Friends will be received from 1-2 p.m. Dec. 28 at Martin Chapel with funeral services following at 2 p.m. at Martin Chapel with the Rev. Jay Hurd officiating.

Entombment will follow in Martin Mausoleum in Clanton.
