Elizabeth Anne Varney Olis, 62, of Clanton, passed away on Dec. 24.

She was born Nov. 23, 1952, in Hammond, Ind.

Olis was a proud graduate of Calumet High School’s Class of 1971. She married Steve Olis in New Chicago, Ind. in 1975. She was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and aunt.

Olis was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church of Clanton. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Maxine Varney.

She is survived by her husband, Hubert “Steve” Olis, her children, Stephanie Hamm (Joseph), Mark Olis (Rachel), Kurt Olis (Kelley) and grandchildren, Wyatt, Delaney, Ella Cate and Emersyn; siblings, Marty Varney (Robin), Sue Flores (John) and David Varney and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Dec. 28 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Dec. 29 at 11 a.m. at Resurrection Catholic Church with Father Bruce Bumbarger officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery.
