Tommie Bristow Falkner

MSGT Tommie Bristow Falkner, USAF (Ret.), 76, of Clanton, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Dec. 13.
Falkner, was born in Columbiana, on Aug. 15, 1938.
He entered the Air Force at age 17 and provided our country with 21years of distinguished service.
After military retirement, Falkner enjoyed a full career in sales and customer service.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Shirley Wood Falkner, and their three children, Patricia Spencer (George), Tammy Weathers (Rusty) and Thomas Falkner (Angela); eight grandchildren, Michael, Nicholas, and Jeremy Spencer, Joseph and Benjamin Weathers, Kayla Jones-Falkner, Maria Falkner and Cody Williams; great-granddaughter, Addison Yeargan.
Falkner was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil R. “Shorty” Falkner and Pearl Bristow Falkner Byram; sister, Martha Henry and brothers, Cecil Jr., Jimmy, Larry and Ronny; grandson, Samuel Paul Falkner.
Falkner was well known for his love of the military and country, his fellow man and most of all, family.
Graveside services will be held at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Dec. 17 at 2:45 p.m.
