I recently attended and enjoyed Monday’s Memorial Day Commemoration presented at the Chilton County Courthouse.

I want to thank all of those involved in the implementation.

I have to admit, I am somewhat dismayed as to why there were only around 100 people in attendance in a county of 40,000 residents.

Have we become so busy in our lives that we cannot give an hour of our time to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice?
