Iverson Pace

Iverson Pace, 62, of Clanton, passed away on March 4 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.
He was born in Amory, Miss., on Aug. 18, 1951, the son of the late Henry Bennett Pace and the late Lora Alice Buchanan Pace.
He was a registered nurse.
He is survived by his son, Iverson Scott Pace of McMinnville, Tenn.; daughter, Alysha Diane Garmer of Smithville, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Don Pace of Sulligent; brother, O.C. Pace of Amory, Miss.; sister, Mary Donovan of Sulligent; sister, Eloise Shields of Becker, Miss.; sister, Dean Bennett of Macon, Ga.; along with his closest friends and caregivers, Mary Burt and William Burnett.
Family graveside services were held March 6 with the Rev. Bill King officiating.
Burial was in the Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton.
The family requests no flower, but encourages memorial contributions be made to the Clanton Episcopal Church.
