The Clanton Tractor Supply Company store will hold a grand opening and ribbon cutting Saturday.
The store opened Feb. 15, and customers have kept Manager Annie Gooden and her staff busy.
“Clanton is a great location for Tractor Supply Company because there is a great need for a store like this in the community,” Gooden said. “Our knowledgeable, friendly team looks forward to providing our neighbors with Tractor Supply’s legendary customer service.”
The store is offering 10 percent off customers’ entire single purchase, up to $100, through Sunday.
Also, to celebrate the grand opening, customers can enter to win prizes including store gift cards, pet feed, clothing, power tools and a 22-ton log splitter. Free Tractor Supply caps will also be given away while supplies last.
The ribbon cutting event, which is sponsored by the Chilton County Chamber of Commerce, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The Clanton location is Tractor Supply’s 44th store in Alabama and employs 14 team members. The facility has 19,097 square feet, including sales floor and support service space.
Tractor Supply is the largest retail farm and ranch supply store chain in the United States and has been operating in Alabama since 1997.
Gooden joined Tractor Supply in 2013 as a manager-in-training at the Selma location. Prior to joining Tractor Supply, she worked in retail for many years.
“I’ve met some wonderful people,” Gooden said about her time in Clanton.
When not working, the Alabama native enjoys spending time with her friends and family, especially her granddaughter.
As store manager, Gooden oversees all store operations, including receiving, inventory control and merchandising, as well as customer and team member relations.
Regular operating hours for the store, located at 1001 Woodfin Lane in Clanton, are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
“We’re here with a winning attitude,” Gooden said.
