William L. Barbour, 84, of Clanton, passed away Jan. 23.

Funeral services were held Feb. 1 from Morning Star Baptist Church in Clanton.

He leaves to cherish his memories a beloved wife, Katie Barbour; two daughters, Linda Faye (Oliver) Davis and Sherry Chapman both of Clanton; two sons, Marvin and Scotty of Chicago, Ill.; three stepsons, Timothy Collins of Portage, Ind., Walter and James Jordan of Clanton; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 26 great-great-grandchildren; five brothers, Charles Barbour (Cora), Edward Barbour (Annie), Joseph Barbour all of Clanton, Marvin (Diane) Barbour of Gary, Ind., and Curtis Barbour of Chicago, Ill., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
