Charles Armon Dutton, 76, of Randolph, passed away on Feb. 9 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

He was born in Chilton County on June 19, 1937, the son of the late John Dutton and the late Lilly Plier Dutton.

He was in the logging business.

He is survived by his son, Ronnie Dutton (Vickie) of Randolph; son, Jimmy Dutton (Debbie) of Randolph; grandson, Keith Dutton of Daphne; grandson, Adam Dutton of Montevallo; great-grandchildren, Taylor Dutton, Owen Dutton, Savannah Dutton, Ashland Dutton, Emily Dutton and Abby Dutton.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mazie Dutton; son, Ricky Dutton; grandson, Jim Dutton; parents, John and Lilly Dutton; brothers, Calvin Dutton, George Dutton and Jessie Dutton and a sister, Pearlie Davenport.

Funeral services will be held on Feb. 10 at 2 p.m. from Mars Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Lovett officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in the Mars Hill Baptist Cemetery in Jemison.
