Thomas Gary Voyles

The Rev. Thomas Gary Voyles, 70, of Clanton, passed away Jan. 18 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.
He was born Feb. 20, 1943, in Georgia, the son of the late Thomas E. Voyles and the late Vera Benson Voyles.
Voyles was the pastor of three churches in Chilton County for 25 years. He served Collins Chapel Baptist Church for 21 years, New Covenant Baptist Church for two years and New Cedron Baptist Church for two years.
Surviving are his wife, Eloise Cox Voyles; sons, Keith Voyles (Dina) and Greg Voyles (Sece); grandchildren, Brody and Kylie Voyles; sister, Delores Thornton and special caregiver, Bridgett Cox.
He was preceded in death by his parents, T.E. and Vera Benson Voyles.
Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Jan. 21 at Martin Funeral Home.
Services will be held Jan. 22 at 2 p.m. at New Cedron with the Rev. Lynn Roe, the Rev. Wayne Cleckler and the Rev. William Kee officiating.
Interment will follow in Collins Chapel Cemetery in Thorsby.
