A single-vehicle crash on Interstate 65 Wednesday afternoon at the 204-mile marker resulted in one fatality.

Arthur Cusick, 27, of Hoover was traveling south on I-65 when his 2003 Toyota Tacoma ran off the roadway and overturned at 3:18 p.m., according to Robyn Litchfield with the Alabama Department of Public Safety.

Litchfield said Cusick was the only occupant of the vehicle.

Litchfield said emergency response personnel shut down I-65 Southbound at Exit 205 for one hour to work the scene of the crash.

Traffic was routed off the Interstate at Exit 205 and south on Highway 31.
