The Chilton County Board of Education will hold the first of two public hearings on the 2013–2014 budget on Thursday, Sept. 5 at 4:30 p.m. in the boardroom of the Central Office.

The board will discuss the proposed budget for Chilton County Schools for the 2013–2014 fiscal year that begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30, 2014.

The second public hearing on the budget will be held Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 4:30 p.m. at the Central Office, the same day as the board’s regular meeting.

The proposed budget will be presented for board approval at the second hearing.

The Central Office is located at 1705 Lay Dam Road in Clanton.
