Thomas “Tommy” H. Gregg, 73, of Stanton, passed away on Aug. 8 in Alabaster.
He was born on Tuesday, May 21, 1940, in Chilton County, the son of the late Clyde W. and Mary Frances Willis Gregg.
He was a store owner.
Surviving are his wife, Dee Dee Gregg of Stanton; four sons, Wes Gregg of Stanton, Russell (Penny) Gregg of Stanton, Johnny Gregg of Irondale and Charles Kennedy of Jackson, Miss.; brother, Billy (Earline) Gregg of Stanton; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lou Ann Mendia and brother-in-law, John (Darlene) Jenkins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Frances Gregg and a nephew, Gary Gregg.
Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on Aug. 10 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held on Aug. 11 at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Raspberry officiating.
Interment will follow in Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery in Stanton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Ebenezer Church Cemetery fund.
