Lula Faye Porter

Lula Faye Porter, 73, of Jemison, passed away on June 8, 2013.

She was born on Saturday, Oct. 7, 1939 in Chilton County, the daughter of the late Amos Porter and the late Bessie Morris Porter.

She was a clerk II.

Surviving are her sister, Betty Porter of Jemison.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Bessie Porter; sisters, Dorothy Nell Porter and Shirley Ann Smith.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. on June 9 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services were held June 10 at 11 a.m. at Thompson Chapel Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Thurmond Cleckler and the Rev. Mark Bolton officiating.

Interment will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery in Jemison.
