John William Pierce, 75, of Jemison passed away on May 14.

He was born on Thursday, Oct. 28, 1937 in Chilton County, the son of the late Earl Pierce and the late Loy Mae Glass Pierce.

He was a heavy equipment operator.

Surviving are his son, Mark Pierce of Jemison; brother, Donny Pierce of Jemison and grandson, Braylon Pierce of Jemison.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. on May 16 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside services will be held on May 17 at 11 a.m. at Midway Memorial Gardens.
