The Rev. Ricky Coburn, 53, of Verbena died Friday, Oct. 19, 2012.

He was born on Saturday, Feb. 14, 1959, in Montgomery, son of the late Judson M. Coburn Sr. and the late Annie Roberta Howell Coburn.

He was a supervisor at Johnson Controls and a minister.

Surviving are his wife, Belda T. Coburn of Verbena; two sons, Eric Coburn of Millbrook, Chase (Whitnay) Coburn of Verbena; sister, Judy Estes of Dallas, Texas; brother, John Coburn of Prattville; granddaughter, Brianna Coburn of Verbena; nieces, nephews and other family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Judson M. and Annie Roberta Coburn Sr. and brother, Sonny Coburn.

Friends will be received from 5–8, Sunday, Oct. 21, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

Services will be held Monday, Oct. 22, at 2 p.m. at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Tony Smitherman, the Rev. Rob Coburn, the Rev. Kenny Coburn and the Rev. Jimmy Simpler officiating.

Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Cemetery in Clanton.
