Sybil Carter Ahlberg

Sybil Faye Carter Ahlberg, age 64 of Clanton, passed away on Oct. 12, 2012, at her residence.

She was born in Chilton County on Nov. 29, 1948, the daughter of the late Will Carter and the late Naomie Spigner Carter.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by: son, Kenneth Brasher of Jones; daughter, Tammy Rolls of Gulf Shores; son, Brian Jones of Billingsley; grandchildren, Chris Grey, Chasity Grey, Chad Grey, McKel Jones and Alexus Jones; three great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Smitherman of Maplesville; brother, Tom Carter of Maplesville; brother, Ernest Carter of Maplesville; brother, Gordon Carter of Plantersville; and sister, Margie Rhodes of Plantersville.

She is preceded in death by: husband, Agie Ahlberg; parents, Will and Naomie Carter; five sisters; and five brothers.

Visitation was held on Sunday, Oct. 14, from 6–8 p.m. at Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held on Monday, Oct. 15, at 2 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. Lynn Roe officiating.

Burial followed in the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church Cemetery in Maplesville.

Final care and arrangements entrusted to Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home of Clanton.
