Shiloh Baptist Church
It was a nice, cool Sunday morning in the Shiloh community. The message was brought by Bro. Larry Felkins from Acts 13:1-3. He explained that though we are a small congregation, it’s how we use what we have.
We all have different ways we can do God’s work: preachers, teachers, prayer warriors, musicians and singers. We need to get out and get to know the community. People move, and as busy as our lives are today, we may not notice that someone who used to live down a certain road doesn’t live there anymore.
Special prayer requests for: Harold Mullins, Lorett Griffin, Marzell Carter and Willie Nell Watts.
We would like to invite everyone to our revival every Tuesday in September. Sept. 18: Tommy Fike and The Chosen Two at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 25: Youth Night with Kenny Martin and Elevate at 6:30 p.m.
The Church of God’s Word
We will have homecoming on Sept. 30 with Bro. Roland Hazel. We will have lunch and a singing. Singers will be Bro. Randall Edwards and Bro. Joe Rasberry. Everyone is invited.
This week’s Sunday School lesson came from Revelation 1:1-8. Bro. Roland brought a good message from John 3:1 and Deuteronomy 8:11-15.
Jesus said I will forgive your sins from the east to the west. I pray that you will be in a church this week. If you don’t have one, come be with us. We would love to have you.
