Bobby Frank Rutherford, 87, of Jemison died Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

He was born on Monday, Dec. 22, 1924, in Chilton County, son of the late Charles Abner Rutherford and the late Alice Robinson Rutherford.

He worked in commercial construction.

Surviving are his wife, Willidean C. Rutherford of Jemison; two sons, Rich (Denise) Rutherford of Orange Beach and Vance (Michelle) Rutherford of Auburn; grandson, Chris (Kelly) Rutherford; granddaughters, Sydney Rutherford, Susie (Ross) Bagwell and Callie (Robby) Martin; great-grandson, Grant Martin; great-granddaughter, Rilee Martin; great-granddaughter, Krystal Rutherford; great-grandson, Wade Rutherford Jr.; great-granddaughter, Audri Bearden; granddaughter, Felicia Rutherford; grandson, Austin Rutherford; and great-granddaughters, Gracelyn and Summer Rutherford.

Friends were received from 6-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 21 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 22 at 2 p.m. at Mineral Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Jason Rothe officiating.

Interment will follow in Mineral Springs Cemetery in Clanton.
