Beautification winners announced

Clanton’s Beautification and Tree Board has announced the recipients of its annual awards in business, historical, residential and most improved categories.
As always, judges chose the new winners based on the following point system: up to 50 points for overall appearance and up to 10 points in color variety, landscaping, neatness of home and yard, and a well-groomed and structural appearance.
Key Properties, owned by Jimmy Easterling, won the business award.
Jim and Judy Easterling of Clanton Estates subdivision won the residential award.
MorLyn’s Fine Jewelry, Gifts & Antiques, owned by Tommy and Ann Glasscock, won the historic award.
Lastly, Joe and Pam Teel of Second Avenue North received the beautification award for most improved.
