William Preston ‘Tinker’ Lenoir

William Preston “Tinker” Lenoir, 70, of Maplesville died Wednesday, June 27, 2012, in Clanton.
He was born on Saturday, Sept. 20, 1941, in Chilton County, son of the late Ernest Lenoir and the late Nettie Sims Lenoir.
He worked in the logging/timber industry.
Surviving are wife, Peggie Lenoir of Maplesville; two sons, Rusty Lenoir and Chris Lenoir of Maplesville; sister, Pat Gallion of Selma; three granddaughters, Lauren Lenoir Carlee of Lawley, Brittney Lenoir Rogers of Thorsby and Bethany Lenoir of Clanton; grandson, Blane Fuller of Maplesville; great-grandchild, Brylee Rogers of Thorsby and great-grandchild, Abby Carlee of Lawley.
Friends will be received from 1:30-3 p.m., Saturday, June 30 at Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Services will be held Saturday, June 30 at 3 p.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Rasberry officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Baptist Cemetery in Maplesville.
