Cornerstone’s ninth annual Peach Run will begin at 7 a.m. on Saturday.

Lori Patterson, the fitness director at Cornerstone, said that usually 100 people participate in the run. So far, 80 people have signed up, but registration will continue through June 23.

Everyone is encouraged to participate in some way—either by running or standing along the route. Since most runners are from out of town, Patterson said strong community participation would leave a lasting impression. “We want them to see us at our best,” she said.

Registration is $30, and anyone interested can register up to the morning of the race, but those who wait are not guaranteed a T-shirt.
