Juanita P. Varden, 71, of Jemison died Monday, May 28, 2012.

She was born on Sunday, Sept. 1, 1940, in Chilton County, daughter of the late William J. Price and the late Addie L. Collum Price.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her five daughters, Vicki (Wayne) Langston of Jemison, Debbie Lovelady of Jemison, Barbie (Joe) Patterson of Thorsby, Pam (Phil) Gentry of Jemison and Becky (Dee Adcock) Mims of Jemison; brothers, Leon, Charles, James, Terry and Dale Price; sister, Marie Connell; eight grandchildren, Cari Patterson, Mark and Rusty Lucas, Chris Gentry, Eric, Nick and Brooke Mims, and Bronson Langston; five great-grandchildren, Gage Littlefield, Jon Paul and Corbin Gentry, Payton and Parker Lucas; and a sister-in-Law, Sara Davarich.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Russell Varden; and brothers, John Price and Travis Price.

Friends were received from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, May 30 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services were held Thursday, May 31 at 2 p.m. at Center Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Smith and the Rev. Clyde Dutton officiating.

Interment followed in Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison.
