The Clanton City Council approved a rezoning request Monday that will allow Pet Haven Veterinary Hospital to relocate to a new office at Eighth Street and Second Avenue North.

The land, on which the old Klinner Furniture Store sits, was rezoned from Business-1 to Business-2 to make way for move.

The council also approved sending out bids for asphalt and approved a request from CVS for a table wine license. The pharmacy already has a beer license.
