Charles “Charlie” A. Dennis, 86, of Marbury died Saturday, March 24, 2012.

He was born on Saturday, March 28, 1925, in Talladega County, the son of the late Charles A. Dennis and the late Etta Jones Dennis. He was a railroad agent.

Surviving are his two Sons, Terry Dennis of Clanton and Mike (Debbie) Dennis of Verbena; two daughters, Charlotte (Gene) Hulsey of Verbena and Marilyn Burnette of Verbena; two brothers, Curtis Dennis of Calera and Clinton Dennis of Verbena; sister, Vera Grant of Verbena; and nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Friends were received from noon to 1 p.m., Sunday, March 25, 2012, at Corinth Baptist Church. Services were held Sunday, March 25, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Corinth Baptist Church with Bro. Larry Jones officiating. Interment followed in Corinth Baptist Cemetery in Verbena.
