U.S. Sen. Richard Shelby will visit with Chilton County residents on Saturday, Feb. 18. The town hall meeting will take place at noon at 7 Place Café in Clanton.
Shelby will discuss the legislative agenda for the upcoming session of the 112th Congress and other important issues facing the nation and Alabama.
Following his remarks, Shelby will open the floor to questions and comments from people in attendance.
“Over the years, these meetings have provided an excellent opportunity for area residents to listen and voice their opinions on the activities of our government,” said Shelby. “This will be a great chance to discuss the important issues facing our state and our nation.”
Shelby holds at least one meeting in each of Alabama’s 67 counties every year.
7 Place Café is located at 309 Seventh St. N. near the intersection of U.S. 31 and Alabama 22.
