Wayne Farler, age 60 of Montevallo, passed away on Jan. 9, 2011, at his residence.

He was born in Hyden, Ky. on Sept. 12, 1951, the son of the late Charlie Farler and the late Tyler Adams Farler.

Mr. Farler was a heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by: wife, Mary Farler of Montevallo; son, Anthony (Jennifer) Farler of Verbena; daughter, Angela Farler-Morgan; granddaughters: Ashlyne Farler, Hanah Farler and Rena Hackett; and grandson, Freeman Hackett.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, Jan. 13 at 2 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Mims Funeral Home, with the Rev. Elmer Edwards officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Farler family.
